How did Dr. Flatley learn Chinese Herbal Medicine and earn her CVCHM?

In 2010, Dr. Flatley became a student  of Chinese Herbal Medicine when she enrolled with the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies.             Her mentor and teacher, Dr Steve Marsden, is recognized  as one of the world's leading experts  in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine. Contributions by other integrative veterinary leaders (Dr. Susan Wynn, Dr. Barbara Fougere among others)  were included to give a broad basis to the course. This course totaled 500 hours of study and required submission of publishable case studies as well as a logbook of 30 cases.                                                       In January of 2012 Dr. Flatley received her Graduate Diploma of Chinese Veterinary Herbal Medicine.   Learn more about her CIVT CERTIFICATION .

Since 2010, and with the help of the amazing mentoring of Dr. Steve Marsden and others, Dr. Flatley has been able to help many of her cat AND dog patients improve the quality of their lives.  Chinese Herbal Medicine is a safe and powerful tool for many chronic diseases that plaque our domestic pets.
